I've turned mine right down and I just hear the little doors opening and the bird coming out o the hour. Not sure if this will disturb a sleeping child though. It won't do the cuckoo overnight though if you set it up.Ellise @ Charles Whytehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02811517202021572630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3641934067424575754.post-10460695766960916012013-12-01T21:36:59.415+11:002013-12-01T21:36:59.415+11:00guys i know you were talking about this months ago...guys i know you were talking about this months ago but they've just come on sale at ALDI here. would you recommend the clock? is it reliable? it's for my 4 year old daughter so it needs to work but look cute too.Wickethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07798765695670680713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3641934067424575754.post-73289901138666108362013-03-09T16:44:43.450+11:002013-03-09T16:44:43.450+11:00Unfortunately, I too cannot find the instructions....Unfortunately, I too cannot find the instructions. I was worried about the cuckoo making too much noise so I turned the volume right down. All I here is a slight mechanical sound as the bird comes out. Mine seems to come out every hours 24/7 - I couldn't work out how to get it off between 9pm and 6am either. Unfortunately, I threw out the instructions. Do you still have them? If you do, maybe you could email me. My husband in an electronics whizz so I can get him off the case if you've kept the leaflet!
Cheers,
ElliseEllise @ Charles Whytehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02811517202021572630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3641934067424575754.post-44075993240406054682013-01-19T16:41:00.978+11:002013-01-19T16:41:00.978+11:00Hi again, I just found a modern cuckoo clock in bl...Hi again, I just found a modern cuckoo clock in black at a very reasonable price online. I've read the instructions given over and over again, but I'm afraid I can't really understand them. The examples they gave about setting when the cuckoo comes out just didn't make any sense to me whatsoever, so I was hoping you might be able to tell me how to get it working.
I would like to figure out how to set it up so that it doesn't go off while I'm trying to sleep. I read in the instructions that there is a way to get it to go off only between the hours of 6am till 9pm, but no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to do that. Is there any chance you know how to set that up so that the cuckoo only comes out every hour between those hours (or maybe even make it 8am till 9pm instead)?
Thank you, Ash.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3641934067424575754.post-29338691593477941342013-01-12T14:10:32.061+11:002013-01-12T14:10:32.061+11:00Oh, sad face :( Sorry to hear this.
