Sewing Projects

At the start of 2011, I did a beginner's sewing class at the Yarraville Community Centre and learned the basics like threading a machine and sewing a simple bag. The group had so much fun learning these time-honoured techniques and felt there was so much more to learn about this new world that a few of us begged the teacher to continue the class. The journey continues as we learn to sew a skirt from a pattern.

A no-sew curtain for a robe
